She was built at Governor's Bay in Christchurch for a Mr J A White. Originally a gunter rigged diesel powered double ended motor sailer, the hull was rebuilt in 1996 after sufferring storm damage. Mrs Gillian Marks, a founding Member of the Lake Rotoiti Calssic and Wooden Boat Association, sold her to Alan and Ronda Clark in 2003 at which time Alan added a new cabin top and fitted a 9HP Yanmar diesel to replace a 10HP Volvo Penta.
