EASTER LIGHT PARADE
SATURDAY 8th APRIL, 2023 - EASTER WEEKEND
An opportunity for boat owners to decorate and illuminate their boats, and parade in the dark for all lake residents to enjoy.
We play follow the leader and have a tail-end-charlie for safety.
You don't have to get all fancy with your lights, anything looks good from the shore and the more boats the more impressive! Just use your Christmas lights or buy a couple of strings of battery powered LED's.
One quick suggestion is not to have lights forward of the skipper unless you can shade them from his view, they tend to impede vision in that position.
There will be a BYO picnic dinner for all participants before we set off.
This event is open to all boats, even the plastic ones!
Please contact the Secretary Rachel Jamieson to register your interest.
