Mako is a kauri launch built by Okawa Bay Boat Builders in 1924. Since acquiring Mako from Paul Adams in 2020, Rob has done extensive restoration work on her with the help of Alan Craig. The new blue hull colour suits her admirably and she is in extremely good condition considering she is one of the oldest locally built boats on Lake Rotoiti.
