Albatross boats are made from aluminim. This one (an Albatross Sport Mk 3) was built for Sir William Stevenson and remained in his ownership until 1990. Skinny Boat has lived on Lake Rotoiti all her life and is powered by a Ford 100E petrol engine giving her a top speed of 33mph.
